ASL Beginner The Shepherd's Door will be offering free lessons in American Sign Language (ASL) on Thursdays between 7 and 8:30 p.m. from September 17 through November 12. A nationally cer- tified interpreter will teach the ASL alphabet, counting, basic con- versations and grammatical considerations as well as Deaf culture. |

Genesis 2 Graham Johnstone leads part 2 of this study by Bob Russell, retired minister of the Southeast Christian Church in Louisville, KY. In this study, Bob presents a DVD verse by verse Bible study on the book of Genesis. At points during his study questions are asked for the class to discuss. Joyful Noise! Jam Sessions occur on the 1st and 3rd Monday of every month, with special practices scheduled as needed. We start at 6:30pm and usually wrap up around 8pm. No commitment is required to attend a jam session, unless you commit to performing a specific song. Anyone with musical inclination is welcome to attend. You may observe, participate, practice, perform...whatever you are comfortable doing. We use singers, instrument players, percussionists, tech people, and sound board people. You are also welcome if you are interested in learning any of these things! We are interested in getting people involved, finding out what musical resources are available at BCC, and fostering worship and relationship through music. |
